I RAN THIS MORNING!!!!  And what a beautiful morning it was.  I got my lazy rear out of bed at 4:30 and was running by 4:50.  I broke out the cold weather gear and wasn't cold at all.  The knee that gave me problems on the marathon didn't complain at all, but it was only 4 and half miles.  I could tell I haven't been running because the pace was quite slow(9:30) but my effort wasn't.  I also had a few joints, mostly my left ankle, tell me they didn't want to be running or up this early.  It felt good all the same.

It appears that I'm motivated just enough to get out of bed and exercise once every two weeks.  I didn't run, but I did play basketball this morning and I get breathing hard and worked up a good sweat.  Will I get out again before December?
