Most of my run was along the St. George Marathon route.  The think I wanted to do was gain a little confidence from running close to marathon pace.  I did that so I'm excited.  The pace was under a 9:00 minute mile until my left knee started to ache and feel loose and unstable, about mile 15.  That down hill did a number on that knee.  It still feels achy and week when I walk down a hill or stairs.  I think it will feel fine in a few days.  I don't think I should run on it though.  Maybe I should go to the Legacy Center to peddle a cycle or an elliptical.

Oooh, I hope that knee recovers soon! I LOVE the LC's spin classes, they are GREAT for x-training. Give them a try, and if you see Skinny Danny (an instructor) tell him the pregnant lady says hi :)

Good luck with the knee. Are you doing St. George? I am running it this year as well. It looks like we have the same goal time (under 4).

Scott -- You're running both? Wow. I'm not running St. George, I was just down there for the weekend so I thought I'd run the route. My knee is fine now. I think it will be stronger because of this run. Good luck on your goal as well. I hope to see you there.
