This was a fun run.  I don't often run with people.  It seems the running friends I do have all have different schedules.  But I was able to hook up with RAD, Calvin, Staci, Becca, and Annette for this run, all of whom I met for the first time.  Runs, especially long ones, are so much easier when going with friends.  I'm almost jealous that I didn't run the entire 22 because I felt so good after the first 12.  Almost.  I did get a chance to give a shout out to the group as they hit about mile 19 from my house.  That was fun.

TOU is Saturday.  I'm excited.  I hope to meet more FRBs.  Are any FRB people planning any hookups I could crash, like at the spaghetti dinner?  I'm also excited for the rest of the weekend.  My wife and I are staying at the Providence Inn Bed and Breakfast through Sunday in celebration of our 14th Anniversary (it was in August but this is close enough).  I can't remember the last time we spent two nights away from all of our kids.  I hope I'm not too exhausted and sore to get around and see some sights, etc.

Thanks again Rachael for inviting me along.

I'm glad you could make it! I had a really great time with everyone. Thanks again for the shout-out at the end, it was a great motivator!

Good luck on Saturday, I'll be thinking of you and I'm doing my nice short 17 :)

That was fun, wasn't it. I don't often get to run with other people either, but luckily i've been able to do it on some key long runs recently. Just what i needed.

It was good to meet you Chad. Enjoy your taper this week, and kick some big PR tail at Top of Utah!
