Felt good this morning so I put in 6 instead of 5.  Average pace 8:27.  29 degrees and dark.  It was breezy too so I was a bit chilled for the first mile or so but warmed up nicely after that.  I had to shed my gloves at mile 3.  The cold is intimidating but never as bad as it seems once you get out.

The hard part is warming up about 10 minutes after you have stopped and the cold really sets in!!!

I ALWAYS shed the gloves first. I see people out running in shorts, short sleeves, and gloves and I am so confused. I want my arms warm, but I do not need the gloves!!!!

I never get cold afterwards. I didn't even know that happened until RAD mentioned that she shivers after a cold run. Weird. I saw someone a while back running on a cold day with some shorts on. Her legs were bright red and I'm sure she wished she had on something a bit longer.

Really? I freeze for hours, even when i take a warm shower. Weird.
