The knee has been feeling a little better and I thought I'd test it out. I wanted to see how it initially responded then how it felt after things warmed up. It didn't feel as well as I wanted it to. I pretty much limped from about a third of a mile until I finished mile one. After that I didn't necessarily limp but I still hurt and I couldn't decide how best to foot strike. It was also hard to stay with a similar foot strike with right and left. The good news is I was able to run through the pain which wasn't the case when I tried a month or two ago. It's now Tuesday morning and I don't have any soreness or swelling so small slow runs probably won't damage it. They may help. This whole thing is a mystery. |
